Your hydro assets and how they are being used have been evolving. This session will look at the how differently the grid has evolved over the last ten years in contrast to what was expected and how hydro assets are now being asked to operate to accommodate today’s grid. In addition, panelist will discuss thoughts about how assets may be used in the future, changes in market “products” that are being considered to provide a stable and reliable grid, and what the future energy and grids might be like. The participants should come out of the session with a sense of how they may want to maintain and upgrade their assets in this evolving energy landscape.
