Too often, wind farm operators only have access to unpolished SCADA data, which is insufficient to fully inform their operational strategy. This presentation will outline a framework enabling operators to make data-driven decisions. The framework enables additional analysis that is needed to contextualize this data and extract it’s added value. The broad principles for defining cases with advanced data analytics can be applied to any site, and several examples will be given to illustrate the possibilities. The presentation will also describe recommended practices for how to manage the cases and to enable a process of continuous learning at a site-level.
