You will learn what it takes to be successful in installing boilers and avoiding the roadblocks to success, such as incorrect pipe sizing and configuration, circulator under sizing, air entrapment, etc. This course includes how to calculate the heat load, using a simplified method. You will also learn correct pipe sizing and its relationship to the dynamics of flow versus load and velocity, piping configurations such as direct supply and return, reverse return and primary/secondary. Also covered will be proper circulator sizing, air elimination, expansion tank sizing, the point of no pressure change, and more.
