Since 2012, DOE (Department of Energy) requires all boiler manufacturers ship hot water boilers with indoor (Load Based) reset controls. This session will present strategies for economizing fuel usage while maintaining customer comfort. Included: a review of conventional boiler and circulator control strategies, multiple reset strategies (including outdoor and demand based reset), as well as energy savings available by optimizing circulator function.
