Join Dr Ann Payne, a Consultant Psychiatrist and clinical lead in Ireland as she teaches you how to recognize, manage serious mental health disorders and deal with crisis encounters through actual clinical scenarios. The session will then follow with a demonstration where, individual participants will interview and interact with each other in role play. You will look at communications (verbal and nonverbal) and debrief each case together after the scenarios. The informal atmosphere will encourage the sharing of real world cases. She will also teach you ways to recognize when a co-worker slides into difficulty and when to reach out to them to offer help.
