It’s not about your hardware it’s about the software. This lecture covers a simple process that explains first responder mental health reactions and needs. It will also cover, rumination (the damage of negative self-talk), the pros and cons of hyper vigilance, how sleep deprivation impacts first responders, and the neurobiology consequences and solutions. This is an interactive class with some physical activities, be prepared to laugh and sweat a little.
