We will provide strategies to screen for signs and symptoms that cause eye irritation and introduce health conscious prevention tools that deliver healthy lash beauty and wellness. Specific emphasis will be placed on the most common eye health conditions that cause irritation such as blepharitis, eye allergies, demodex and dry eye disease. Equally, emphasis will be directed at methods of instrument disinfection, sanitation and sterilization to prevent contamination.As a team composed of an optometrist and esthetician, we will raise awareness in the benefits that exist in engaging in interprofessional collaboration for continual success.
