Two years after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that schools must offer students with disabilities "an IEP reasonably calculated to enable a child to make progress appropriate in light of the child’s circumstances, ” what has changed? Attorney Patrick Andriano will share strategies for developing IEPs, monitoring progress, and revising IEPs consistent with the Endrew F. FAPE standard. He will explain how the Supreme Court clarified the FAPE standard and review how this standard has been applied in recent court decisions. You'll leave this session with a renewed understanding of what it means to offer a student with a disability an IEP aligned with the new standard of FAPE.
