A9 | Leveraging Current Funding and Staff to Improve Student Outcomes in Special Ed (Room Tallahassee)

With the annual need for special education services climbing and many speech pathologists retiring,  schools across the country are scrambling to cover services. Even if money were no object, there simply aren’t enough speech pathologists and behavior analysts to serve the community.  School districts can now bridge the gap in services and funding with new technology that significantly increases results while decreases costs. A panel will discuss their experiences with specific implementation techniques, staff reactions, student outcomes and cost savings from a district-wide implementation of Gemiini Video Modeling.
