Gone are the days of just HFC infrastructure, as the sole access network. Here to stay are multi-access networks that can adapt to support SDN/NFV approaches for DOCSIS, 5G and other access technologies.  This session, anchored by Cisco’s Amit Singh and Technicolor’s Patrick Goemaere will lay out a continuum of strategies for making the best use of the fiber in a network. Those network options are analyzed for reduced CapEx and OpEx and increased service capability/agility within a multi-access network. The workshop will also cover how the two-punch of edge compute and software lifecycle management can enable operators to provide a faster and far more engaging customer experience.
