This year’s installment from PNM expert and Comcast Fellow Michael O'Dell examines the intersection of ML/AI and real-time analytics about weather and HFC impairment data. The goal: To minimize the impacts of weather on the customer experience -- by climate. Also: What if you could know, in advance, the best time to conduct a customer-impacting but otherwise urgent repair, so as to minimize overall disruption? This session continues with a look at a CableLabs-developed model to predict the best times to conduct service-disruptive repairs, for a given set of impacted end devices.
