The IAAPA Career Slam is a program that provides university students with a rare opportunity to network and learn from leaders and veterans of our industry. Career Slam is not a job fair-it’s a chance to network with managers, executives, and other seasoned amusement industry professionals. Roundtable discussions are the heart of the Slam! You will sit elbow-to-elbow with successful industry professionals, and learn about their work, their companies, and the career paths and decisions that have helped them succeed. Who Should Attend? Career Slam is open to current full-time and part-time university students who are interested in pursuing a career in any of the following: Amusement Parks, Resorts, Show and Attractions Management, Attraction Industry Design, Theme Parks, Family Entertainment Centers, Tourism, Hospitality, Water Parks, Museums and Science Centers, Zoos and Aquariums.
