California’s 2019 Title 24 Building Energy Efficiency Standards will require that all new low-rise residential buildings install solar PV systems. This session will review policies that led to the solar mandate, discuss the technical requirements that will take effect on January 1, 2020, and evaluate the options and flexibility builders have for compliance.
