Building consensus around data can be a challenge. Properly visualized data provides opportunities for better understanding and decision-making. This session will consider a case study from UC Davis, which provided new ways to simplify decision-making through data visualization. The result: Key decisions were made to consolidate all ambulatory clinical functions into one building, to increase utilization by 25 percent (max 65 percent) and to move all non-clinical support to less expensive space. Presenters will demonstrate how visualized data gave UC Davis the confidence to move the project forward ahead of schedule, and to realize potential savings in escalation.
