Design teams are continuously asked to provide more from less space and with leaner contingencies. So how are we coping with late-stage program adds, clinical and infrastructure scope creep, and “have-to-haves” well after the design is finalized? What methods are effective in staving off emotional pleas or compelling demands for highly specialized clinical needs? After an overview of the design and documentation process, moderators will open the floor for attendees from peers and institutions across the nation, to share effective methods, protocols, and resolutions to design change requests and avoid the inevitable budget busters. They’ll share case study examples of change management processes that have resulted in success.
