Forgotten spaces within healthcare facilities cost projects millions of dollars, extend project schedules, and reduce facility efficiencies. Join these moderators for a discussion on how to recognize the potential impacts that types and quantities of core/shell, MEP, and IT rooms have on spatial requirements for space program and stacking requirements. This will be a lively discussion on why it is vitally important to treat the MEP/IT space requirements as importantly as we do surgery or imaging in terms of the space program and development of a functional program as the basis of design and development.
