CLICK HERE TO VIEW SESSION RECORDING.

Everyone is talking about it – the workforce shortage, the caregiver crisis, the need for, now and in years to come, more caregivers. Private home care providers were acutely aware of this long before the pandemic punctuated it across all industries. And, while there is no silver bullet solution, we can combat this. Right now, public perception of the role of a caregiver, home care aide or PCA is pretty poor – home care workers are thought of as unskilled or poorly educated. Culturally, the US doesn’t support choosing caregiving as a career – starkly different than many other countries where many generations of families live together and care for their elders. Join a panel of experts as we take a deep dive into the current perception of the home care worker and what we can do to change it.
