Whether we capture our images one frame at a time or 24 frames per second, we, as visual creatives all share one primary ingredient; light. Creating the ideal light that helps us tell our story is paramount to our craft, and finding the tools that help us do that in a versatile, reliable, and efficient way are often times the key to a good shoot vs a great shoot.
As the worlds of still and video capture continue to shift and merge, we are often called upon to create both types of visuals with limited budget and time. In this presentation, Daniel Norton will take on the challenge of creating beautiful light that suits both an interview and portrait situation allowing him to craft both short clips and beautiful portraits with his subject in minimal time.
Bouncing, diffusing and shaping light using the Chimera Panel Frames, Daniel will create various Interview and Portrait lighting scenarios that cover a wide range of feeling and style.
This will be be a live demonstration, in a less than ideal environment. No Powerpoint, no excuses. Just like on assignment.
