In recent years, innovations in miniaturizing sensor technology has opened up new market opportunities for spectroscopic applications. Cost & size of equipment has been reduced where today, a handheld spectrometer provides nearly the same measurement capabilities as expensive benchtop laboratory equipment. This session examines recent innovations in spectroscopy, new use cases never before realized, from farmers analyzing grains to pharmaceutical companies managing drug fraud within their value chains, and more.
