Artificial Intelligence can be leveraged to reduce testing by determining what test coverage should be prioritized after a particular change is made to the firmware. AI can also be used to support customer-experience driven augmented operations. In this workshop, Charter Communications will present how it is theoretically possible to predict which test cases should be run first, by determining the likeliness of those test cases to find defects from an AI-derived regression model. Guavus will present CX-driven augmented operations (CXAO). In a CXAO world, per-subscriber quality of experience is continuously monitored, and degradations are prioritized by customer impact. CXAO also uses system incident prediction to interpret real-time events as types or classes of behaviors, from which root issues are automatically determined and fixes prescribed.
