Software-defined wide area networks (SD-WAN) are rising in importance as a way to attract and retain enterprise-side customers – with the flexibility and velocity of the Internet. SD-WANs can take advantage of any connectivity to provide an over-the-top service, with the flexibility and control enterprises need today. For instance, serving a multi-site enterprise customer, with 30% of locations off-net, becomes a matter of shipping an SD-WAN device to a “bring your own broadband” environment, which can be turned up and authenticated via an app. This session will investigate the impact of SD-WAN on business services.
