America’s older population is booming. In this session iEldra will discuss how connectivity, IoT devices and artificial intelligence can be the facilitator for aging in place for any older adult or loved one that has access to a broadband network. Also, Technicolor will explain how smart notifications use machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to detect anomalies and provide actionable notifications to home users. This is accomplished by first observing various discrete events generated by the sensory inputs in the home such as sounds, temperature, pressure, humidity and other IOT sensors and applying all those inputs to an AI engine that autonomously creates a model describing a “normal” situation. Then, ML/AI is used to detect anomalies that deviate from the “normal” model.
