Using Machine Learning to Help Protect Against Pirates (Room 206)

This workshop will examine several statistical and machine learning (ML) techniques to analyze distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack data, so as to discover correlations between types of attacks. It will also cover techniques using network analytic models, important for acting on traffic behaviors, services flows, and configuration states. Attendees will learn how to predict and respond in near real-time to the network’s changing demands.
