Designed for small groups and hosted in the Expo Hall, these interactive presentations feature equipment demonstrations, hands-on time and an opportunity for questions and answers.
OSHA defines a confined space as being made up of 3 main parts:
- Being large enough for an employee to enter and perform work;
- Has limited or restricted means for entry or exit; and
- Is not designed for continuous occupancy.
This session describes many kinds of areas a worker can encounter on a daily basis. It will illustrate what would be considered a non-permit required confined space and what would be considered a permit required confined space.
