OSHA has specific requirements for confined space entry and the equipment needed for safety entry in its 1910.146 Permit Required Confined Space Standard. This session will outline the "practices and procedures" required "to protect employees" from the risks of confined space entry. The equipment discussed will include tripod rescue systems, manhole equipment, rescue baskets, signage required and other equipment intended to keep employees safe while in a confined space.
