Tracks: Agribusiness Environment and Management Practice

U.S. agriculture has relied upon significant growth in trade over the past few decades, moving from very limited ag trade in the 1970s to over $130 billion of ag trade in the past few years. In this session, we will discuss the factors and reasons behind the various trade disputes impacting agriculture, focusing mainly on the U.S.-China trade war. We will also examine recently constructed trade deals (USMCA) and potential trade agreements (Japan, EU and the UK).
