Onboarding new employees presents a unique set of challenges, including low reading and comprehension levels, time constraints and language barriers, to name just a few. This session will provide you with strategies for providing employees with the safety information they need to keep themselves safe while maintaining compliance with workplace safety standards. Strategies presented in this session include managing the hiring process, the use of instructor led and online training, hands-on training, job shadowing programs and routine reinforcement training.
