How do you make the right decision when you are standing in the "Gray Zone?" Is it right or is it wrong? Beginning by defining ethics, this presentation will review the impact of engineering failures to engineering codes and ethics today. An overview of various Codes of Ethics, including one for cowboys (after all, we are in Texas) and even pirates, will examine similarities and differences. The presentation discusses Qualification-Based Selection, selected case studies and the licensing process to move you out of the "Gray Zone."
