6 GHz: The Latest on the FCC's Proposal to Share Spectrum in the 6 GHz Band (Room 203A)

Last fall, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) initiated a rulemaking to allow unlicensed spectrum sharing in the 6 GHz band.  Utilities across the country have licenses in the 6 GHz band for mission-critical communications.  UTC and our members have been urging the FCC to protect these incumbent licensees from the interference that will occur if the band is opened to unlicensed spectrum sharing.  Attendees at this session will hear an overview of the proceeding, current status, and what they can do to protect their mission-critical communication networks.
