Chatfield Farms is a 700-acre native plant refuge and working farm located along the banks of Deer Creek in southern Jefferson County, about 30 minutes from downtown Denver. With Deer Creek winding through the property, Chatfield Farms boasts a large natural area where you can encounter deer, birds and other wildlife. Within this natural setting, cultivated areas feature artistic gardens of native and introduced plants that thrive in our Colorado climate and delight the senses. Gain a glimpse into the past through historical buildings that date to the 1800s and observe how current food-growing operation. Explore Chatfield Farms with a knowledgeable docent and enjoy a box lunch on the way. Then, on the way back to the Hilton, your tour bus will make a stop at the nearby world famous Red Rocks  Ampitheater for a glimpse of nature's most magnificent natural creation for musical events.
