Melodie Miller will host a hands-on workshop sharing her knowledge and experience on dressing plus size women in style. Everyone wants to look good in their clothing and choosing a flattering style is where that starts. Part of “my job as a designer is to provide the best fitting garments to all my customers” and that includes the plus size consumer. Designing for the plus size women requires special attention in style selection, fitting and grading. In this workshop Melodie will share the steps she takes to assure great fitting garments for the plus size women. Melodie will provide examples of what works and what doesn’t work in plus size silhouettes, fitting and grading. In addition, she will problem solve: fitting and grading challenges in the workshops.
