For the last 10 years, Kirsten has been refining the art of family storytelling sessions and will share her approach to both hourly and full-day sessions, from shooting in the field to all the business behind the business.
The day will include tips and tricks when working with children in a very short time frame to make amazing moment-driven pictures as well as building a strong skill set that will allow you to anticipate behavior so you can prepare before the moments ever happen. Kirsten will share a raw contact sheet from a real session so you can review her thought process and talk through building pictures. Additionally, she will provide you with concrete exercises you can practice once you return home to help you explore your own point of view.
In terms of business, Kirsten will explore the art of creative direct marketing, networking, community cheerleading, pricing and social media. She will also critique your images at the end of the class.
