Jonathan will teach the importance of using lighting to light both a subject and the environment they are in, and having that light tell a story about the picture. He’ll also teach how to use one, two, three and all the way up to eight lights in a single scene and give students the confidence to turn any "normal" area into their own playground, as well as how to manipulate those scenes to work within a narrative. Jonathan approaches photography from more of a cinematographer approach, blending the two disciplines, and he’ll teach a unique "back to front" lighting style to simplify what could be a very complicated setup.
THINGS TO BRING: Attendees are encouraged by the instructor to bring a camera and a notebook.
