Lighting and posing are two of the many factors that separate a professional from an amateur. Alison has 15 years in the industry and continues to conquer the challenges of both indoor and outdoor spaces that have mixed lighting. Walking into a space and diagnosing the quality, quantity, color and direction of the light is the first step. Learn the techniques she uses to alter the lighting using modifiers, gels, grids and solid exposure settings. Think-through processes will be shown for full sun, clouds, indirect shade and mixed lighting for general indoor spaces. Once the light has been decided, learn the modern poses for males, females and couples that match the mood of how your lighting feels. Alison will demo live to create imagery in the given classroom space.
