In this session, you’ll review CMS’s efforts to push risk to healthcare providers and learn from the experience of two health systems in the Medicare Shared Savings Program. You’ll learn how health system leaders evaluate their own risk readiness, and then explore how they deal with key issues including physician engagement, financial analyses, and implementing population health strategies. Finally, you’ll leave with a strategy for assessing risk readiness in your organization and forming a glide path to increased risk, informed by new Medicare Shared Savings Program rules.
