Neurological Disorders affect patients across the lifespan. Parkinson's Disease is a degenerative process affecting older persons while spinal cord injury is acute and affects mostly younger individuals. This session will compare and contrast how both disorders manifest in and alter the integumentary, gastrointestinal and genitourinary systems. Implications for WOC nursing are described.
