Today’s supply chains are largely disconnected, often have poor visibility into the location and status of raw materials, parts or even finished goods, and lack a secure, reliable way to share this information across participants. The Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain offer opportunities to address these issues, enabling enterprises to better forecast demand, respond to supply chain incidents and provide enhanced customer care. Designing and implementing IoT and Blockchain solutions can be a challenge for many organizations who may lack the time, expertise, available staffing or tools required to get the job done.
