This presentation will inform the audience on exactly how the Social Security Trust Fund operates, where the cash comes from, and where it goes. Projections will be discussed regarding both the near-term and long-term status of the IOUs that the federal government owes the Social Security Trust fund. Then, we’ll discuss what could/might occur once those IOUs are depleted. Finally, we’ll have a wide-ranging review of how this could also impact all the other government-run pension funds and its negative impact on both the economy and entire nonprofit sector of the Unites States.
