The university Esports gaming culture is different from that of other sports, but it also has similarities that might surprise you. In this session, you’ll learn how Esports athletes develop and what makes the difference between good and great performers. You’ll explore typical myths of a gamer’s lifestyle along with the stresses of an Esports athlete’s experiences. Exploding fan popularity at the university and professional levels will be covered, as well as tips on how to maximize Esports visibility on campus.
