11 Jun 19
1:30 PM - 2:15 PM

Tracks: Technology Leadership

“Enterprise architecture,” which is a conceptual blueprint that defines the structure and operation of an organization, does not exist in many institutions and is often undervalued. This session will address how technology departments at universities can enhance their value by providing or enabling an enterprise architecture practice. You’ll find out how this practice can be entrenched with the many different businesses across the university by reviewing and refreshing legacy business processes and enabling enhanced use of the current technologies. You’ll also learn how this architecture effort would include the reduction of duplicate and shelf-ware applications.
