TL6 | Using Social Tools to Turn Ideas Into Collaborative Knowledge (Room Citrus)

11 Jun 19
1:30 PM - 2:15 PM

Tracks: Technology Leadership

Ideas are everywhere, but getting down to the best ideas — the really great ones that make a dent — well, that’s a bit more difficult. This session will look at social tools for collaboratively capturing, classifying, and curating ideas so that the best ideas rise to the top. Social ideation works because it is active ideation, not passive. Social ideation puts ideas in a place where others can contribute, making ideas better and stronger and thus turning knowledge into a collaborative, collective effort. Specifically, this session will look at tools and techniques for articulating an idea better; improving the shelf life of brainstorming sessions; and increasing access to ideas and opportunities for future use.
