As data continues to play a greater role in informing institutional decision-making, careful consideration must be given to the development of materials that help accomplish this task. To be most effective in this endeavor, institutions must be able to provide users with data and analyses that guide institutional learning and provide the contextual understanding of broad campus issues. This session demonstrates how Stetson University transformed institutional data into interactive Power BI visualization analytics reports to inform institutional decisionmaking. You’ll see how data have facilitated campus learning; specifically, the ability of stakeholders to contextualize understanding and comprehend crucial patterns. And you’ll learn how this, in turn, has fostered an institutional data culture shift from merely asking questions to leveraging appropriate data and insight to identify opportunities for change.
