University of the Pacific’s Digital Media Technology Services team has redefined how AV projects are managed, from idea through implementation, to ensure that customers receive what they envision after project implementation. This session will address fundamental project management principles and how they play into the delivery of a project on time. You’ll learn about the process the university uses to tease out requirements, and the techniques and visualizations it employs to get the foundational information to develop a virtual model of what the envisioned space could look like. As a case study, you’ll see how all this was accomplished with the recent deployment of a physician’s assistant program building remodel, which was completed in record time through the employment of these techniques and tools.
