The library at its core is a shared campus resource, which along with its service-orientated culture provides the ideal setting to cultivate growth in technology-based learning. However, budgetary constraints often stymie the desire to build and support these new spaces and technology. Join Memorial University Libraries for a deep dive into these challenges, a discussion of how changes in operational requirements have led to the transformation of space, and examples of how the cultivation of cross-discipline partnerships have helped overcome budgetary constraints. You will also hear about the incubation of a comprehensive space plan that will continue to propel the library forward as the campus leader in the use of innovative, technology-based supports in teaching and learning.
