This full-day workshop will be held at Legion of Bloom’s soon to be open indoor grow facility, which will be one of the largest in California. Come learn how to design, build, and manage a large-scale cultivation facility in this pre-operational complex. Begin your experience with an overview of the Legion of Bloom brand, the build-out and licensing process, and their growing methodology. Attendees will learn how to retrofit a building along with the decision-making factors behind selecting grow mediums and nutrient systems. Attendees will then begin sessions focusing on sustainability and regulatory compliance. These sessions, based on Legion’s growing methods, will teach attendees how to calculate and assess energy, water, and waste usage as well as how to evaluate adherence to California Regulations (CDFA), FDA (sanitization, product handling, record keeping), and OSHA. Before leaving the facility wrap-up the day with a Q&A session with the entire group.
