Our world is on the leading edge of a Smart Machine Age led by artificial intelligence. Smart machines will take over millions of jobs and be able to know and analyze data faster than any human, yet free of the emotional, psychological, and cultural baggage that so often mars human thinking.
If we can’t beat them OR join them, we humans will be in a frantic footrace with smart machines to stay relevant. To do so, we need to excel at doing those skills that technology won’t be able to do well: Higher order critical thinking, creativity, innovation and high emotional engagement with other humans —things machines can’t do well. The key is to change our definition of what it means to be “smart”
Success will not come from being more like the machines, but through excelling at the best of what makes us human. This session is a game plan for how you can take your thinking, listening, relating and collaborating skills to much higher levels as you hire employees of the future.
