Home healthcare workers are at particularly significant risk of MSD injuries. They mostly work one-to-one with their patients and, unfortunately, are often an underserved recipient of safe patient handling and mobility devices and education. Ms. Coulter will demonstrate how, given the resurgence of the aging-in-place model and the medical complexities of these populations, it is imperative that we assess the environment and patient-specific needs and provide the appropriate SPHM solutions for long-term success of care in the home health setting.
