Because of the nature of their work, surgeons and lab workers face unique ergonomic risks. Learn how Duke’s ergonomics programs specifically address these challenges. The program for its surgeons includes education on surgical ergonomics, coach training for surgeons to educate their peers and loupes-fitting consultations. The lab ergonomics program includes training of lab employees as coaches and includes them in the development of solutions to the issues.
