Gloves are often considered a simple form of personal protective equipment. An ergonomics challenge with gloves is that they impact dexterity and grip force, which can add risk to a job. Learn the product design approach for creating a new glove to fit the needs of all stakeholders within a meat processing environment. Using both qualitative and quantitative data, the speakers will provide insight from product design and manufacturing, ergonomics, safety and operational viewpoints to illustrate the development process for this solution.
