Winning an endurance race is about more than who has the youngest and fittest body; it’s about optimizing pace and form so the body is at peak efficiency and productivity for the duration of the activity. The same principles that apply to sports performance can be applied to the way we work. The importance of pace and managing fatigue among workers is often downplayed, as is fit and form, but research shows that managing these things helps workers work more efficiently for longer. Ms. Hall will discuss how maximizing workers’ comfort and proactively managing fatigue can help in the prevention of workplace injuries.
